Wendi is one of life’s lovely people. She’s kind, generous with her time (and her lovely cooking! She served up the most delicious lunch after our shoot and even taught me how to make Cloud Bread!) and had so many wonderful stories to tell. I had an absolute whale of a time taking some relaxed headshots of her in her stunning Liverpool home, which is as full of colour and creativity as Wendi herself.
Wendi is a celebrant, creating beautiful bespoke wedding naming and life celebration ceremonies, which are entirely unique and totally customised and personal. She says: “I’m here to make each and every ceremony I’m involved with is inspiring, extraordinary and unforgettable.”- just like Wendi herself.
I fell in love with Wendi reading her website’s About page. The way she tells her stories and describes her work is utterly captivating, and I knew that I needed my images to be equally captivating. I love getting to know my clients really well before shoots- I want to capture you and your personality, so I think it’s really important to form relationships in advance. It makes your images more real, more honest, more YOU.
Wendi’s pink hair and colourful wardrobe are a big part of her personality and her brand, so it was fabulous to take a sneaky peek into her incredible wardrobe and capture some of the dresses, flower crowns and shoes she wears when conducting ceremonies. It’s always such an honour to capture little elements of real life like this! It also creates an arsenal of personalised stock photography for you to dive into again and again for your website and social media posts- invaluable to a busy business owner!
Wendi was thrilled with her images, telling me:
“Oh my word! They are absolutely gorgeous! Thank you so very, very much. I can’t tell you what an amazing gift you have given me!”
