Colourful Lancashire Engagement with bluebells at Fairy Glen, Parbold

lancashire engagement Photographer

Are you ready for a lovely colourful Lancashire Engagement shoot? A couple of weeks ago I met up with Clare & Stu at Fairy Glen, which is just as cute as it sounds! A gorgeous little beauty spot just at the bottom of Parbold Hill, it has some great places to explore, loads of beautiful bluebells as well and some beautiful waterfalls. We were incredibly lucky to avoid the April showers (think, enormous thunderstorms and hail) and picked the only dry hour of the day!

We spent about an hour having a lovely little wander and chatting about their fab plans for their wedding at The Bold Hotel, Southport later this month. We snapped some lovely natural pictures- these two are the cutest and giggled the whole way round, so despite being a bit nervous of the camera at first, they made my job super easy! We had loads of fun on this session and I can’t wait to do it all again at the wedding, having fun by the seaside in Southport!

Fairy Glen, Parbold Engagement Shoot

Are you thinking of booking an engagement shoot? Or perhaps you just want to have a lovely Couples Shoot, just because? There are so many reasons that I could list why you should book an engagement shoot- It’s obviously a really great way to get to know each other before the big day. I absolutely loved getting to know Clare and Stu, and know that they’ll feel super comfy around me on the big day now.

My aim is for you to feel like I’m a friend at your wedding and not just another stuffy supplier. It’s super important that you feel comfortable around me and the camera so that you can get on with enjoying your day. Feeling relaxed means better photographs, just like the ones above. It’s also a really lovely experience to have as a couple because you get to spend a little bit of time focusing on each other. These two booked the day off together to celebrate it being exactly one month before their wedding- how lovely is that? It’s a perfect excuse to just enjoy some you-time amid the hub-bub of wedding planning madness.

There are so many other reasons to have an engagement shoot. But there’s one that’s super important (so excuse me while I’m a bit cheesy for a minute)-  because you’re madly in love. I always come away from an engagement shoot with a warm fuzzy feeling, because I’ve enjoyed spending time among lovely love-birds, just having fun together. How lucky am I that that’s my job? Find out more about my wedding packages and engagement shoots here.
