Charlotte and James, otherwise known as Charlie and Jim,had a fun-filled and super chilled celestial themed day at Kings Acre in Chester, and I must say, it was one of the most crazy, unique and wonderful weddings I’ve ever had the pleasure of being a part of! With a totally, beautifully bonkers outdoor ceremony led by their friends, some bloody incredible outfits, hula-hooping competitions, and culminating in several guests stripping off and diving in the lake, the whole day was an absolute one-of-a-kind from start to finish- AMAZING!!!

Charlie and Jim, are let’s face it, absolute couple goals. They were my Win Your Wedding Photography competition winners back in the Autumn, and I have loved getting to know them and hearing about their amazing wedding plans. Both working as conservationists at Chester Zoo, they love outdoors adventures and travelling. In Charlie’s words, “We are both Sagittarius and adventurous and really similar in personality, very chatty and excitable, haha! We always laugh and say we are connected because we know what the other is thinking, or is going to say!”. She couldn’t be more right- this lovely pair were so loving and snuggly all day long, they made the job of photographing them ridiculously easy!

The whole day has a celestial theme, from Charlie’s sequinned stars on he stunning wedding dress, to James’s SPace themed tie, and the stunning handmade decorations in the marquee. Charlie told me: “It was a moon & stars theme because we are real star/ sky gazers- we go out on midnight adventures on full moons, such as paddle boarding, or trekking up mountains and to castle ruins to see the stars. Jim asked me to marry him on the Strawberry Full Moon- at midnight when we were paddle boarding!” To top off the theme, Charlie even changed into an evening outfit of a star-spangled jumpsuit by Burnt Soul, complete with veil and light up sneakers!

Enjoy your previews Charlie and James- I loved every moment of your amazing wedding.
