I absolutely LOVE the concept behind Full Circle Tees. I’ve always been passionate about environmental issues, and always jump at the chance to work with eco-friendly, sustainable businesses. I just love the way that Nicki, owner of Full Circle Tees recycles, repurposes and reinvents fast-fashion t-shirts, previously destined for landfill, to create bespoke, hand-made bags, macrame plant hangers and embellished tees that can be enjoyed for years to come. We have become so wasteful as a society, so it’s such a breath of fresh air to see a business teaching sustainable, creative skills.
I joined Nicki for a photo shoot at her amazing Embroidered T-Shirt workshop at Seven Brothers Beerhouse in Ancoats, Manchester. There’s not much I enjoy more than a Sunday afternoon with crafts and craft beer! This colourful workshop shoot was great for capturing action shots and engaging imagery that Nicki and Full Circle Tees can use to tell stories and demonstrate the real experience of attending a workshop. Clients love to see real images that they can relate to and aspire to!
It was fantastic to photograph this live workshop photoshoot, creating images of the students at work, the materials and processes- images which Nicki has found invaluable for her social media and website. I just loved the beautiful coloured flosses wrapped around wooden pegs, and the look of concentration on the stitcher’s faces!
I also was able to take a few fab headshots of Nicki- she is another creative soul who rarely shows her face on her various platforms- a phenomenon I’m on a one-woman mission to change! Customers LOVE to see the face behind the brand and want to know that real human that pours all of their love and energy into making their business thrive, so I’m always keen to snap some relaxed portraits on a branding shoot- get that gorgeous face out there and make waves!
If you host workshops or classes and are looking for a creative photographer to capture all the fun, make sure that you slide into my DMs, or shoot me a message via my contact form- I absolutely love to get in there and capture all the action!
