It's Time to Get Excited! It's Nearly Wedding Time!

Pre-Wedding Information Questionnaire

Wooooooohooooooo! The big day is almost here. Hasn’t that come around quickly?! So, it’s time for us to gather all the important details, go through the plan for your day and plan all the timings and the final details. This wedding questionnaire will help me make sure I can do the absolute best job I can of capturing your awesome day– you can use it to let me know where people will be, and when, and what is happening! The more I know about the day in advance the better.

Please fill it out and send it back to me at least 2 weeks before your wedding day (sooner if you can!). The idea is that I can use the form to crate a comprehensive timeline and put together my own itinerary to ensure I am always in the right place at the right time and that your wedding photography coverage is totally awesome!

PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately you can’t save your progress on the form, so please make sure you’ve got all the information you need before you sit down to fill it in. Grab a cuppa, or a glass of wine, put on an awesome playlist and dig in! If there’s anything you’re uncertain about or need some advise on just let me know.

Personal Details

Please keep me updated if you move house!
Is this the address you would like your USB box to be sent to? *
This might be a work address, a parent's address, etc. I will be sending the box First Class Signed For, and it will not fit through a letter box. Your box will be sent around 6-8 weeks after the wedding, once you have received your digital files.

Logistics On The Day

This just helps me to get familiar with important people before your day. I like to be able to know a few key names in advance, so if you could let me know names of Best Men/ Women, Maids/ Men of Honour, Bridesmaids, Groomsmen and Parents, that would be super helpful. Though I can't promise to remember them all in the madness of the day!
Always good to have in case of emergency- I've never had to use them yet!
For weddings with large numbers of guests, large sites, lots of events during the day, or requiring coverage of both partner's getting ready, this is highly recommended. There is an additional cost of £250 for this- feel free to message me to chat about this if you are unsure.
This is totally optional but I just need to know in advance so I can plan ahead. Please note that if no meal is provided, I may have to leave the site to get food.

Getting Ready

The time that you will begin getting ready/ your hair and makeup crew arrive. As a guide, I will generally begin shooting prep around two hours before I would need to leave to get to the ceremony venue. No-one wants photos when they've just rolled out of bed!
Please note, that unless both of you are getting ready together, or in the same venue, or very nearby, it is logistically very difficult to cover it all on my own. If having both sets of getting ready shots is important to you, I advise booking a second shooter- shoot me a message if you're unsure.

The Ceremony

Please give Venue Name, full address and postcode.
This is rare during a civil ceremony or celebrant led ceremony, but occasionally venues, in particular churches, might restrict where photographers can stand/ move to during the ceremony. It's worth having a chat with your Vicar/ Priest etc. about this.

Group Photos

I recommend no more than 10 formal group shots. These shots take time to organise and shoot (around 3-5 minutes each), which is much better spent partying with your guests! Group shots are a lovely way of getting families together, and tend to keep the mum's happy (!) but, guests generally find this part of the day a bit dull, so by keeping them to a minimum, everyone's a winner. If you have a massive family or really need more than 10 shots, send me a message.
This is a huge help and saves me running back and forth and yelling! It also helps the group shots run much smoother and quicker. Try to pick someone who will know most of the necessary guests by name.

The Details

I like to say hello to videographers in advance so that we can get to know each other and work together on the day.
I love making wedding industry friends. If you're happy for me to share your images with your other suppliers at the wedding please provide me with a list of the other suppliers on the day. I aim to credit everyone involved so a website/ insta link for each one would be amazing too.
