A St George’s Hall Wedding

St George’s Hall Wedding Photographer

Can you believe how INCREDIBLE this lovely pair looked on their wedding day?! I mean, those outfits! Those flowers! Just amazing!

I was incredibly lucky to be invited to shoot their legal wedding celebrations at St George’s Hall in Liverpool, before their huge party wedding at Constellations the next day. Emily and Craig wanted to make the most of the celebrations and make a weekend of it, and they did it in SO MUCH STYLE! Read on for more!

Registry Offices don’t get much more beautiful than St George’s Hall. With its imposing pillars, stunning tiled floors and neoclassical grandeur, it is a perfect choice for a registry office ceremony. Emily and Craig chose to have a fabulous Celebrant (The wonderful Lorraine Hull, Liverpool Celebrant) at their main wedding day, so they chose St George’s Hall to get the official paper work, getting married in one of the smaller rooms- perfect for their intimate ceremony.

I have never seen a couple sooooooo excited to be married, punching the air and whooping- it was incredible! I just love their excited confetti shot too! They definitely got the memo about having loads of confetti, and enjoying the moment!

My highlights from this amazing day in Liverpool

Amazing Alternative Wedding Dresses

I don’t think we can go any further without talking about Emily’s INSANELY AMAZING outfit. I mean, how gorgeous does she look please? With an Agapé Bridal crop top, Watters skirt and the most stunning flower crown and bouquet by Blossoms House of Flowers, she turned heads everywhere she went. I just loved how she rocked her own incredible alternative style- bride goals, right? Craig, not to be outdone, looked dapper as hell in his Moss Bros jacket, Arket trousers and boots by Loake.

Portraits

Of course, for portraits, we just had to make use of the stunning Pillars outside St George’s Hall. Their wedding was the last of the day, so we were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves. The colours in Emily & Craig’s outfits just worked perfectly with the green copper door- beautiful! We took a lovely little wander on the way to their reception venue, Leaf on Bold Street, via the stunning graffiti outside by Hixxy at in Hardman’s Yard. Alllll the heart eyes!

A reception at LEAF on Bold Street, Liverpool

To continue their gorgeous celebrations, Emily and Craig, along with their nearest and dearest, enjoyed a reception at Leaf on Bold Street, one of my favourite alternative Liverpool wedding venues. It was the perfect relaxed space for a lovely meal, and a natter, followed, I’m sure by a good old party! I left them to enjoy their meal and prepare for the next day’s nuptials with a massive grin on my face. What a day!

“We cannot thank Rachel enough for being totally awesome and creating some insane images – some might say pieces of art! She covered the ‘legal bit’ of our wedding at St George’s Hall in the summer on a sweltering hot day! She was a total professional; did loads of research into beautiful backdrops and got the ultimate EPIC picture in front of the big St George’s hall doors … ROCKSTAR PHOTOGRAPHER & ALL ROUND LEGEND!!! Thank you, Rachel!”
