Wow. I mean WOW! What an incredibly FUN and INCREDIBLE year it’s been. I’ve travelled the country from Edinburgh to Cornwall and back again, and everywhere in between. There’s been brass bands, sausage dogs, VK toasts, and street art a-plenty, not to mention a whole host of AMAZING couples who have celebrated their weddings in totally unique and wonderful ways. There’s been glorious sunshine, stormy skies and more rainy weddings than I could have ever believed there could be. But every single one of them was an absolute CORKER.
I always talk about my photography being fun and relaxed, but that’s made possible thanks to my incredibly chilled out couples and their amazing friends and family. I feel so incredibly lucky that I get to call this my job- partying for a living with gorgeous people can’t really be called work can it?
I’ve shot at some absolutely stunning venues; Oh Me Oh My, The Everyman Theatre, and Meols Hall to name a few. From festival weddings to stunning barns, magnificent marquees to bracing beaches and awesome city streets, I have been absolutely spoilt. There’s been enough pizza and shots to sink a ship, tonnes of colourful confetti, and I’ve laughed until I’ve cried more times than I’d care to mention. What a way to end the decade!
Well, I won’t twitter on much longer! Here’s my little rundown on some of my absolute faves from 2019. Each shot makes me smile, laugh, cry or cringe… just like photos should. Hears to each and every one of these fantastic couples for choosing me as your fun, and maybe slightly crazy wedding photographer- I love you all, and I am so thrilled to have been a part of your big days.
2020 is shaping up to be an absolute cracker – I’ll be travelling across the country from the Isle of Harris, to Arundel, from London to Perth, Wales, Liverpool, Manchester… and even to SORRENTO. I mean, someone pinch me now. I’m so excited to visit loads of new amazing venues and work with oodles of talented wedding suppliers. I could quite literally burst with excitement.
My diary is now open for 2021 weddings and I have a few spots left for weekday and Friday weddings in 2020 too (plus a very, very limited number of Saturdays!). So if you’re planning your fun, unique wedding and want a creative photographer to capture it all, please have a good shufty around my website (and Insta!) and shoot me a message. I’d love to hear from you.
All my love, squishy hugs and Happy New Year snogs,
