Bride and Groom pose with Llamas in bow ties at Wellbeing Farm Bolton

Wellbeing Farm Wedding Photographer- A Super Fun Farm Wedding with Llamas in Bow Ties!

Favourite venue alert! For years, since I was planning my own wedding, I have been head over heels in love with Wellbeing Farm. I mean, what a venue! It even made it to my list of 22 Best Alternative Wedding Venues in Manchester! When a venue has llamas, donkeys and tractors, and is set amongst the most stunning Lancashire countryside, what more could you want? So to be given the chance to be a Wellbeing Farm wedding photographer alongside the lovely Natalie from Agnes Black– well, let’s say I absolutely jumped at the chance!

A fab, fun farm venue!

This great, fun setting suited the gorgeous Theresa and Tom down to the ground. This lovely couple met at University in Manchester, where they now live, but their families and friends travelled from Scotland, Devon and other far flung places to celebrate their special day. Theresa is a newly qualified Drama teacher, and spent the year before her wedding doing her PGCE whilst planning the whole thing- having done both separately and being stressed to the nines, I think she deserves a medal!

Stunning DIY Details

Theresa wore a stunning silk and lace dress designed and made by her very talented new mother-in-law, who also made the gorgeous vintage-style bridesmaids dresses.  Tom’s nerves soon melted when his caught sight of his beautiful bride beaming from ear to ear. It really was magic, and I must say, I got a little choked myself when I spotted Grandad having a little cry during the vows- picture below. So sweet. (No, you’re crying!)

All the fun of the Farm!

As well as those happy tears, their wedding was filled with love and laughter from beginning to end. Both animal lovers, they had an absolute ball during portraits with the Llamas in bowties, and donkeys in flower crowns (yes, you read that right- how bloody awesome is that, please?) and giggled continuously whilst snuggling on the ‘Just Married’ tractor- a farm wedding staple!! The awesome, fun, rustic decor complimented the couples own style brilliantly, and there were just so many amazing crafty details to capture in this incredible venue- my fave!

From the riotously hilarious speeches, the neon sunglasses for every guest (cue several selfies), the beautiful balloon release and fun sparkler exit, to the very energetic and crazy Cèilidh dancing, this wedding absolutely had it all.

I feel SO BLOODY LUCKY to be able to spend my days with fab fun couples like Theresa and Tom, and in awesome venues like Wellbeing Farm. I really couldn’t ask for a better job! I wish them all the luck in the world for a very bright future together– not that they’ll need it!
